1979-614WHEREAS, the County of Orange is authorized to use its
general revenue sharing funds with cities for recreational purposes;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires that the City and
County participate in a revenue sharing project for development of
Canyon Site II Park for recreational use; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms and
conditions of which are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an agreement between
the City of Anaheim and the County of Orange relating to Canyon Site
II Park be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 23rd day of October, 1979.
