1979-567ATTEST: FAL,JR:fm RESOLUTION NO. 79R -567 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE DECLARATIONS UNDER SECTIONS 8 AND 15 OF THE TRADEMARK ACT OF 1946. WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim possesses two United States Service Marks, Registration Nos. 982,337 and 983,003; and WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirous to renew these service marks; and WHEREAS, in order to renew these service marks, appropri- ate declarations must be filed with the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office prior to the sixth anniversary of each trademark; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim to authorize the Mayor to execute said declarations for each service mark. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the Mayor, John Seymour, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute declarations to renew United States Service Marks, Registration Nos. 982,337 and 983,003, on behalf of the City of Anaheim. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of October, 1979.
