A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AND THE NORTH ORANGE COUNTY
COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT RELATING TO
VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to provide
Job Referral and Guidance Services for its residents through
the establishment of a Job Development and Recruitment
Center; and
WHEREAS, as a part of said Job Development Program,
the City of Anaheim desires to provide vocational guidance
and counseling services; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim requires the services
of an agency with special knowledge and experience in the
field of vocational guidance and counseling services; and
WHEREAS, the North Orange County Community College
District is willing to furnish such specialized personnel and
material as is required to provide vocational guidance and
counseling services for the operation of the Counseling and
Testing Component of said Job Development and Recruitment
Center; and
WHEREAS, the North Orange County Community College
District has submitted to the City a form of Agreement
providing for the furnishing of specialized personnel and
material required to provide said vocational guidance and
counseling services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be
for the benefit and in the best interests of the City to
approve the proposed Agreement between the City of Anaheim
and the North Orange County Community College District, and
that the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that said Agreement this day submitted
to the City. Council to be made and entered into between the
City of Anaheim and the North Orange County Community College
District providing for the furnishing of specialized personnel
and material required to provide vocational guidance and
counseling services upon the terms and conditions and for the
compensation set forth in said Agreement, be, and the same is
hereby approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said Agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this ens day of
October, 1979.
