A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AND THE ORANGE COUNTY NEIGHBORHOOD
YOUTH-CORPS, INC., RELATING TO COMMUNITY BASED
INDIVIDUALIZED INSTRUCTION AND VOCATIONAL
SKILLS TRAINING.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to provide
Community Based Individualized Instruction and Vocational
Skills Training for its residents through the establish-
ment of an Anaheim Educational Opportunities Center; and
WHEREAS, as a part of said Anaheim Educational
Opportunities Center, the City of Anaheim desires to
provide Community Based Individualized Instruction and
Vocational Skills Training; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim requires the services
of an agency with special knowledge and experience in the
field of Community Based Individualized Instruction and
Vocational Skills Training; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Neighborhood Youth Corps,
Inc., is willing to furnish such specialized personnel and
material as is required to provide Community Based Individ-
ualized Instruction and Vocational Skills Training for the
operation of the said Anaheim Educational Opportunities
Center; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Neighborhood Youth
Corps, Inc., has submitted to the City a form of Agreement
providing for the furnishing of specialized personnel and
material required to provide said Community Based Individual
ized Instruction and Vocational Skills Training; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be
for the benefit and in the best interests of the City to
approve the proposed Agreement between the City of Anaheim
and the Orange County Neighborhood Youth Corps, Inc., and
that the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that said Agreement this day submitted
to the City Council to be made and entered into between the
City of Anaheim and the Orange County Neighborhood Youth
Corps, Inc., providing for the furnishing of specialized
personnel and material required to provide Community Based
Individualized Instruction and Vocational Skills Training

upon the terms and conditions and for the compensation set
forth in said Agreement be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of
October, 1979.
