A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO OPERATE
THE DEFERRED PAYMENT REHABILITATION LOAN
PROGRAM AUTHORIZED BY SECTION 50660 ET SEQ.
OF THE HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE TO THE ANAHEIM
HOUSING AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, the State of California has enacted the Deferred
Payment Rehabilitation Loan Program (Section 50660 et seq., Health
and Safety Code); and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires the Anaheim Housing
Authority to undertake the operation of the Deferred Payment
Rehabilitation Loan Program; and
WHEREAS, Section 7402(q) of Subchapter of Chapter 7 of
Title 25 of the California Administration Code, as promulgated by
the Department of Housing and Community Development, permits such
delegation after a public hearing; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held to consider such
delegation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
hereby determine that it is in the best interests of the City of
Anaheim to delegate to the Anaheim Housing Authority the operation
of the Deferred Payment Rehabilitation Loan Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the operation of the Deferred Payment
Rehabilitation Loan Program is hereby delegated to the Anaheim
Housing Authority.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day October, 1979.
