A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON
MENT OF A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN EAST -WEST
PUBLIC ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN CHARTRES STREET
AND OAK STREET, EXTENDING WESTERLY FROM ANAHEIM
BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly posted and published, give notice of its in-
tention to vacate and abandon the public street or alley herein-
after described; and
WHEREAS, on the 29th day of May, 1979, a public hear-
ing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation and abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find, from the evidence submitted, that the public street or
alley hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for pres-
ent or prospective public street purposes; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 79R -306, the City Council did
abandon most of said alley; and
WHEREAS, a portion of said alley was inadvertently de-
leted from the description of the alley being abandoned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and aban-
donment of a portion of that east -west public alley located be-
tween Chartres Street and Oak Street, extending westerly from
Anaheim Boulevard more specifically described as follows:
That certain easement for public alley purposes
described in Deed recorded in Book 158, page 206,
records of said Orange County, described as follows:
The southerly nine (9) feet of the westerly 50.28
feet of the easterly 80.25 feet of the Original
City Lot 26, as shown on a map recorded in Book 3,
page 110, records of said Orange County, also the
northerly 9 feet of the easterly 80.25 feet of the
Original City Lot No. 30, as shown on the aforesaid
map.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of the
City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 11th day of September, 1979.
