A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF A PROPERTY PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
(DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION) AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREE-
MENT FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the State of California is the owner of a certain
parcel of real property in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, identified as State Parcel No. 980312- 01 -01;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to acquire said prop-
erty in connection with the development of low- and moderate- income
housing within the City; and
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of Transpor-
tation, has submitted a proposed purchase agreement for said prop-
erty to the City, the terms and conditions of which are satisfactory
to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of said purchase
agreement be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said property will be used by
the City of Anaheim for the following public purposes:

1. Development of low- and moderate- income housing; or
2. Exchange of property, or portions thereof, with the
owner of adjacent property which property as acquired
by the City will be used for the development of low
and moderate income housing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 11th day of September, 1979.
