1979-515WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore submitted a
Memorandum Proposal to the State Office of Traffic Safety (herein-
after "OTS for a grant of funds to conduct a Safe School Routes
Study more particularly described in said Memorandum Proposal and /or
Project Application /Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the OTS has subsequently recommended that the
City of Anaheim submit a Project Application /Agreement for a grant
of funds to the City in an amount not to exceed Forty Thousand
One Hundred Dollars ($40,100.00) for the cost of said study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim does hereby signify
its approval of the Project Application /Agreement in accordance
with the terms and conditions set forth in or incorporated by ref-
erence in said Project Application /Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager, or his
designated representative, is hereby authorized and directed to
execute said application, and all documents necessary thereto,
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 11th day of September, 1979.
