90-029 RESOLUTION NO. 90R - 29
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN
THE ANAHEIM FIRE FIGHTERS ASSOCIATION, LOCAL 2899,
AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, on March 8, 1988, the City Council approved
Resolution 88R-104, adopting a Memorandum of Understanding
between the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Fire Fighters
Association, Local No. 2899; and
WHEREAS, the Labor Relations Director met and conferred
with officials and employee representatives of the Anaheim Fire
Fighters Association, Local No. 2899, to discuss specific
conoerns relative to amending Article 52, Uniforms and Laundry;
and
WHEREAS, an Understanding dated December 14, 1989,
between the parties has been prepared amending certain
provisions of the current Memorandum of Understanding dated
March 4, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find that approval of said Understanding is in the best interest
of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Understanding dated December 14,
1989, between the Anaheim Fire Fighters Association, Local No.
2899, and the city of Anaheim, is hereby approved and the Labor
Relations Director is authorized to sign said Understanding on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
city Council of the City of Anaheim this 16th day of January
1990.
