1979-501A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF A CONVEYANCE THEREOF.
(EL CAMINO HOMES, INC. PURCHASE)
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the
hecbinafter described property owned by the City of Anaheim is no
longer needed for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, negotiations have proceeded between El Camino
Homes, Inc., a California corporation, and the City of Anaheim for
the purchase and sale of Lot 44, as per map of Tract No. 1931,
recorded in book 54, pages 9, 10 and 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of County, California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the negotiated price
of $30,000.00 is fair and reasonable and it would be in the best
interests of the City of Anaheim to sell said parcel of land to
said El Camino Homes, Inc., a California corporation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council during its meeting of
April 24, 1979 authorized by motion the sale of said parcel of
land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it authorize and it does hereby authorize
the sale of the above described parcel of land for a total cash
consideration of $30,000.00.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
a grant deed of the hereinabove described parcel of land in favor
of El Camino Homes, Inc., a California corporation.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 4t day of September, 1979.
