A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A SPECIAL RATE CHARGE
FOR TAXIVANS FOR THE YELLOW CAB COMPANY OF
NORTHERN ORANGE COUNTY, INCORPORATED.
WHEREAS, the Yellow Cab Company of Northern Orange
County, Incorporated, did file an application with the City of
Anaheim seeking permission to operate two to four vans in the
Disneyland area during convention and peak periods at a speci-
fied rate; and
WHEREAS, on the 28th of August, 1979, a public hearing
was held upon said application at the hour of 3:00 P.M. in the
City Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council at said hearing did receive
evidence on the need to operate taxivans during convention and
heavy peak periods at a special rate of One Dollar ($1.00) per
person per destination, the maximum of Four Dollars ($4.00)
charged per trip; and that the application is reasonable and
should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application of
the Yellow Cab Company of Northern Orange County, Incorporated,
to operate two to four taxivans in the Disneyland area during
convention and heavy peak periods at the charge of $1.00 per per-
son per destination with the maximum of $4.00 charge per trip
be, and the same is hereby, approved excepting that the Yellow
Cab Company of Northern Orange County, Incorporated, shall not
operate any taxivans to nor from the Anaheim Plaza.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this approval shall remain
in full force and effect until the further order of the City
Council.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 28th day of August,
1979.
