A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN
CITY PROPERTY TO TEXACO ANAHEIM HILLS, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of certain
property in Anaheim Hills adjacent to the Anaheim Hills Golf
Course; and
WHEREAS, on January 9, 1979, the City Council, by motion,
authorized the sale of fifteen (15) acres of this property to
Texaco Anaheim Hills, Inc. for use as an equestrian center; and
WHEREAS, Texaco Anaheim Hills, Inc. has agreed to pay
for and tendered a check for the sum of $210,000.00 for said fif-
teen acres; and
WHEREAS, the fair market value of said property is
agreed to be $210,000.00 for the equestrian center only; and
WHEREAS, the said property is no longer needed for pub-
lic purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim hereby accepts the
check from Texaco Anaheim Hills, Inc. for the sum of $210,000.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized to execute a Grant Deed for the
conveyance of said property.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 14th day of August, 1979.
