A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF p~AHEIM AUTHORIZING &~D DIRECTING
THE {rAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A GRANT
DEED ON BEHALF OF THE CITY IN FAVOR OF
ORLO M. HOBBS, ET l~.
vlliEREAS, the City of &laheUm is the owner of approxi-
mately 3.23 acres of land in a portion of the West half of the
Southeast quarter of Section 3, Towns~ip 4 South, Range lO West,
in the City of P~aheim, which proper~y has heretofore been used
as a rifle range; and
rlliEREAS, inasmuch as other arrangements have been made
for a rifle range and the City Council finds that the City has no
further need for said property, and
,i.HEREAS, Orlo j\'~. Hobbs ana others, doing business under
the fictitious firm name and style of Hobbs Trucking Company,
have offered to purchase said property from the City for the sum
of $96,900.00, being at the rate of $30,000.00 per acre; and
HHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City to sell said property and to have the Mayor
and City Clerk execute a deed therefor in favor of said Hobbs,

Nm'l, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it authorize, and it does hereby author-
ize, the sale to Orlo M. Hobbs and others of the following de-
scribed property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California:
That portion of the West half of the Southeast quarter
of Section 3, Township 4 South, Range 10 West in the
Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 5l, page 10 of Miscellaneous r'1aps,
records of said Orange County, d~scribed as follows:

BEGIN~ING at the Northeast corner of the Schaffer-Oswald
Subdivision, as shm-m on a Hap recorded in Book 7, page 41
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange CountYi
thence Hest along the North line of said Subdivision,
485.l0 feet to the East line of the land conveyed to
Donald R. Bates by deed recorded October 7, 1957, in
Book 4060, page 447 of Official Records; thence North
along the East line of said land conveyed to Bates, and
its Northerly prolongation 375.90 feet to a point in the
Southerly line of the land conveyed to Real Gold Citrus
Products by dee~ recorded July 13, 1950 in Book 2041,
Page 139 of Official Records; thence Easterly along
said Southerly line 486.18 feet to a point in the East
line of the West half of the Southeast quarter of said
Section 3; thence South along said East line, 375.84 feet
to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Northerly l13.59 feet of
the Easterly 300.00 feet.

HESERVING UNTO GIW\ITOR HEHEIN an easeraent for road and
public utility purposes over, under and across the
Easterly 30.00 feet of said property.
BE rr FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
a grant deed to the aforesaid property on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
N~D BE IT FURTHER Flli SOLVE D that the City accept, and
it does hereby accept for recordation, that certain Quitclaim
Deed dated October 9, 1967, delivered to the City of Anaheim by
Hobbs Truckin9 Company and that the City Clerk be and she is
hereby directed and authorized to cause the same to be recorded.
THE FOREGOING P.ESOLUTIOIT is approved and signed by me
this 10th day of October, 1967.
