A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public
Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et seq. Government
Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described public service easement (hereinafter "Easement
to wit:
An easement for public utility purposes to install
and maintain underground conductors, conduits, struc-
tures and padmounted transformers with related faci-
lities under, along and across that portion of Parcel
1, as shown on a Parcel Map, filed in Book 82, page
31, Parcel Maps, in the office of the County Recorder
of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of said Parcel 1;
thence S 73° 02' 00" W, 137.56 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence S 29 28' 00" E, 100.00 feet;
thence N 73 02' 00" E, 8.44 feet; thence S 16 55'
30" E, 12.00 feet; thence S 73° 02' 00" W, 21.00 feet;
thence N 16° 55' 30" W, 12.00 feet; thence N 73 02'
00" E, 7.44 feet; thence N 29 28' 00" W, 100.00 feet;
thence N 73 02' 00" E, 5.12 feet to the true point of
beginning; and
WHEREAS, on the llth day of December, 1979, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Easement is un-
necessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this llth da December,
1979.
