A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE CERTAIN AGREEMENTS FOR TEMPORARY HELP
SERVICES FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Anaheim in Section
518 authorizes the City Council, by ordinance or resolution, to
permit the City Manager to bind the City by contract for the
acquisition of equipment, materials, supplies, labor, services,
or other items included within the budget approved by the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, City Departments have periodic needs to util-
ize temporary clerical help; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to augment the auth-
ority granted by Section 518 by authorizing the City Manager to
execute agreements for temporary clerical help under certain con-
ditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does hereby authorize the City Manager
to bind the City with written contracts for the acquisition of
labor and services in connection with temporary clerical help
provided that the amounts of compensation therefor are included
within the budget approved by the City Council.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 4th day of December, 1979.
