A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO THE
PROVISION OF WATER SERVICE BY SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA WATER COMPANY TO CERTAIN
PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, through its Public
Utilities Department, supplies water to residents and
businesses within the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Southern California Water Company
(hereinafter "SCWC desires to provide water service to that
parcel of property located between Orangethorpe Avenue on
the north and The Atcheson, Topeka Santa Fe Railroad right-
of-way on the south, generally between Miller Street and
Tustin Avenue (hereinafter "Parcel and
WHEREAS, it would be extremely costly to extend
City water service to Parcel; and
WHEREAS, SCWC has facilities in the area of Parcel
and can extend said facilities to Parcel at a reasonable
cost to the Developer of Parcel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it does consent to the provision
of water service by SCWC to Parcel.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this27th day of
November, 1979.
