A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
TO THE AGREEMENT FOR THE COLLECTION OF
RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AND JAYCOX DISPOSAL COMPANY, INC.
WHEREAS, an agreement was entered into by the
City of Anaheim and Jaycox Sanitary Service of Anaheim,
Inc., on August 29, 1978; and
WHEREAS, this firm was, subsequently, purchased
by Mr. Raul Rangel and renamed "Jaycox Disposal Company,
Inc.," and
WHEREAS, the parties to said agreement do
mutually agree that said agreement should be amended
effective November 1, 1979 to increase the unit price for
residential solid waste collection and to extend the term
of said agreement; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to said agreement has this
day been submitted, the terms and conditions of which are
satisfactory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim that the said Amendment to
the Agreement between the City of Anaheim and Jaycox
Disposal Company, Inc., this day submitted be, and the
same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said Amendment to
Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27thday of
November, 1979.
