RESOLUTION NO. 67R-~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN CITY RECORDS.
WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California
authorizes the destruction of city records upon the approval of
the legislative body of the city, and with the written consent of
the city attorney, provided, that said records do not fall within
certain specified categories, and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has requested authority to de-
stroy certain records which do not fall within said categories,
and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney hereby gives his written con-
sent to the destruction of the records of annexations listed here-
in, as said annexations either failed at an election, were termin-
ated by formal Council action or, in other cases, never carried
through.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, that the following records are no longer re-
quired by the City and should be destroyed in order to conserve
storage space in the City offices, to-wit:

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper official of
the City having custody of the above-designated records shall
cause said records to be destroyed in a lawful manner, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon destruction of the
foregoing records, a certificate of destruction shall be executed
and the original thereof filed in the office of the City Clerk,
together with a copy of this Resolution.
The foregoing Resolution is approved and signed by me
