RESOLUTION NO. 67R- 363
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING A REVOLVING FUND AND
AUTHORIZING THEREFROM REFUNDS IN CONNECTION
WITH TICKET SALES AT THE CONVENTION CENTER.
WHEREAS, The City Council does find and determine it is fre-
quently nece?sary to make refunds by mail to purchasers of tickets for
events held at the Anaheim Convention Center, and
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that it is necessary to provide
change funds for ticket sellers who work for the City at the Anaheim Con-
vention Center, and
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that the most feasible method
is establishing a separate account for the purpose of providing the change
funds and making refunds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that there be~ and there is hereby created and established, a
revolving fund to be known and designated as the Anaheim Convention Center
Trust Account for the only purpose of providing funds for the change funds
and making necessary refunds in connection with ticket sales at the
Convention Center.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director is hereby
directed and authorized to exercise whatever financial controls he deems
necessary in auditing and otherwise controlling such account.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there be deposited from the
General Fund in said revolving fund the sum of $5,000.00 and that there be
transferred from time to time such amounts as may be necessary to maintain
a balance of $5,000.00 in said revolving fund.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director, the Con-
vention Center Operations Manager, and the Box Office Manager be and each
of them is hereby authorized to advance funds from said revolving fund for
the purpose of making refunds and that such refunds may be made from time
to time without being further approved by the City Council.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
27th day of June, 1967.
