1967-300WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City
of Anaheim having filed his Supplemental Report showing the
cost of removing weeds from streets within the City of Anaheim,
as heretofore ordered by Resolution No. 66R-184, and the City
Council having heard said report, and no objection having been
raised by the property owners liable to be assessed for the
work of abating such nuisance;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TED CITY OF
ANAHEI DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Supplemental Report of said Superinten-
dent of Streets be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
2. That the cost as to each lot, as set forth in
said Supplemental Report of the Superintendent of Streets, is
ascertained and determined to be a correct cost.
3. That since the owners of parcels of land listed
on said written Supplemental Report have been billed directly
for the cost of removal of weeds, rubbish and refuse from said
parcels of land and since these costs have not been paid by
said property owners, said costs are hereby declared to be a
lien upon the property from which such weeds, rubbish and refuse
have been removed by the Superintendent of Streets and shall be
collected with the taxes on said property.
4. That the City of Anaheim Finance Director be, and
is hereby authorized and directed to file with the County Auditor
of the County of Oranfie, on or before August 10, 1967, a certi-
fied copy of this resolution and a certified copy of the Stipple
mental Report of the Superintendent of Streets hereby confirmed,
and the County Auditor is authorized and rec to enter each
assessment on the County tax rolls opposite the Iparcel of land,
and add the amount of the assessment to the next regular tax bill
levied against each of said parcels for municipal purposes.
