1967-237WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
water line purposes

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR WATER LINE
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of INTERSTATE ENGINEERING
CORPORATION
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
water line purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for water line purposes only over,
under and across the Westerly 10 feet of the
Southerly 491.85 feet of that land described
in deed to John H. Kirsch and wife, recorded
July 8, 1919 in Book 337, page 370 of Deeds,
records of Orange County, California, being
a portion of Lot 23 of Anaheim Extension, as
shown on a Map of Survey made by William Hamel
and filed in the office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, California, a copy of
which is shown in Book 3, pages 163 et seq.,
entitled "Los Angeles County Maps," records
of said Orange County.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
