A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT AMENDING THAT
CERTAIN AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO ON JULY 5,
1966 WITH THE CITY OF GARDEN GROVE, WITH
REFERENCE TO THE SALE OF WATER TO GARDEN
GROVE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and the City of Garden
Grove have heretofore, on July 5, 1966, entered into an agree-
ment whereby the City of Anaheim agreed to sell the City of
Garden Grove water through three (3) emergency connections; and
WHEREAS, said emergency still exists; and
WHEREAS, said agreement expired on January 5, 1967;
and
WHEREAS, said Cities desire to continue the sale of
water upon the same terms and conditions; and
WHEREAS, a form of agreement, entitled "First Amendment
to Agreement," has this day been submitted to the City Council to
be made and entered into between the parties, providing for the
extension of the term of said agreement to October 1, 1967; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said First Amend-
ment to Agreement should be approved.
