A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road
and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of FIRST CHURCH OF THE
NAZARENE /ANAHEIM, a corporation organized under the laws
of the State of California,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road
and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Northerly 53 feet,
as measured at right angles to the center line
of Lincoln Avenue of that portion of the Westerly
half of the Northerly half of Lot 8 of Anaheim
Extension, as shown on a Map of Survey made by
William Hamel on file in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
The Westerly 100 feet of the following described
property: Beginning at the intersection of the
center line of Lincoln Avenue, formerly known as
Center Street, with the Northerly extension of
the Easterly line of said Westerly half of Lot 8;
thence Southerly along said Easterly line,
235 feet; thence Westerly parallel with said
center line, 200 feet; thence Northerly parallel
with said Easterly line, 235 feet, and thence
Easterly along said center line, 200 feet to the
point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is a roved and signed by me
this 12th day of March 19 6
