A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of VALLEY INDUSTRIAL
LAUNDRY, INC., a corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road
and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the West half of Lot 44,
of Hazard's Subdivision, as shown on a Map of Survey
recorded in Book 1, page 26 of Record of Surveys in the
office of the County Recorder of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of Jefferson
Street and Coronado Street, as shown on said Map of Survey;
thence North 0° 33' 00" West along said center line of
Jefferson Street, 812.32 feet; thence North 89° 09' 05"
East 45 feet to a point on a line that is parallel with
and distant 45 feet Easterly of said center line; thence
South 0° 33' 00" East along said parallel line, a distance
of 755.19 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
Northeasterly and having a radius of 25 feet; thence
Southerly and Easterly along said curve through a central
angle of 90° 17' 15" an arc distance of 39.40 feet to a
point on a line that is parallel with and distant 32 feet
Northerly of the center line of Coronado Street; thence North
89° 09' 05" East along said parallel line, 384.41 feet;
thence South 0° 32' 48" East 32 feet to a point on the
center line of Coronado Street; thence South 89° 09' 05"
West, along said center line a distance of 454.55 feet
to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 12th day of March 19 68
