1968-115WHEREAS, an application has heretofore been filed with
the City of Anaheim to change the name of Lincoln Avenue to Nohl
Ranch Road easterly of the Newport Freeway to its intersection
with the Santa Ana Canyon Road, as the same lies within the juris-
diction of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City of Orange by resolution of its City
Council has determined and directed that Lincoln Avenue from
the Newport Freeway easterly to the easterly limits of the City
of Orange be changed to Nohl Ranch Road; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim that
the name of Lincoln Avenue easterly of the Newport Freeway to
its intersection with Santa Ana Canyon Road be changed to Nohl
Ranch Road in those areas lying within the jurisdiction of the
City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the name of Lincoln Avenue (to the ex-
tent that it lies within the jurisdiction of the City of Anaheim)
easterly of the Newport Freeway to its intersection with the
Santa Ana Canyon Road be, and the same is, hereby changed to
Nohl Ranch Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City make appropriate
changes in the signing of said portions of Lincoln Avenue, but
that such signing be delayed until such time as the applicants
for the change of name herein ordered have advanced to the City
of Anaheim the full costs of such signing.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
