A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DEDICATING CERTAIN PUBLIC -OWNED
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FOR ROAD AND
PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore acquired,
through eminent domain and otherwise, certain real property
within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim for a water
well site; and
WHEREAS, said property is located on the east side
of Western Avenue in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it is indicated and anticipated that the City
of Anaheim will widen Western Avenue to its ultimate width and
as a result of said widening, it will be necessary to dedicate
a certain portion of City -owned property, wherein the City owns
a water well site, on Western Avenue for street and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in
the best interests of the City of Anaheim, and especially in the
light of the anticipated future road developments in the area,
to dedicate a portion of its water well site on Western Avenue
as an easement for road and public utility purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it dedicate, and it does hereby dedicate,
as an easement for road and public utility purposes, the following
described land situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, more particularly described as follows:
The Westerly 45 feet, as measured at right angles
to the center line of Western Avenue, of that
portion of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 14, Township 4 South, Range 11
West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
as per Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the center of said Section 14, said center
being also the intersection of the center line of Orange
Avenue and Western Avenue; thence South 00° 16' 25" East
1349.18 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
North 89° 36' 59" East 115.19 feet; thence South
00° 23' 01" East 37.00 feet; thence South 89° 36' 59"
West 115.26 feet; thence North 00° 16' 25" West 37.00
feet to the true point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby authorized and directed to record a certified copy
of this resolution in the office of the County Recorder of the
County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 20th day of February, 1968.
