A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY AND IVAN J. CAREY AND IDA M. CAREY
RELATING TO WEST STREET AND CONVENTION WAY,
AND ACCEPTING AND AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION
OF EASEMENT GRANT DEEDS IN CONNECTION THERE-
WITH.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and Ivan J. Carey and
Ida M. Carey have agreed that the City will accomplish certain
street improvements and other improvements to the property of
the Careys in exchange for easement grant deeds for road and
public utility purposes along Convention Way and West Street
in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the Careys have presented to the City an
executed agreement setting forth the understanding between the
Careys and the City of Anaheim and have tendered to the City
of Anaheim fully executed easement grant deeds to rights of
way in Convention Way and West Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said agreement
truly reflects the agreement between said Careys and the City
of Anaheim and that the easement grant deeds tendered by the
Careys are in proper order in all respects; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is
best interests of the City of Anaheim to execute the
with the Careys to which reference has been made and
the easement grant deeds tendered to the City by the
Careys.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and the City Clerk be,
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute, on
behalf of the City of Anaheim, that certain agreement between
the City of Anaheim and Ivan J. Carey and Ida M. Carey dated
February 8, 1968.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City accept, and it
hereby accept, two easement grant deeds dated February 8,
and executed in favor of the City of Anaheim by said
J. Carey and Ida M. Carey.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby, directed to record said two easement grant
deeds to which reference is made in this resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of February, 1968.
