RESOLUTION NO. 6ba 85
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAnEIL AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEAENT BETWEEN THE CITY
AND THE POWELLS RELATING TO WEST STREET AND
CONVENTION WAY, AND ACCEPTING AND AUTHORIZ-
ING THE RECORDATION OF EASEEENT GRANT DEEDS
IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and Hazel ii. Powell and
Ldward F. Powell have agreed that the City will accomplish
certain street improvements and other improvements to the property
of the Powelis in exchange for easement grant deeds for road and
public utility purposes along Convention Way and West Street in
the City of Anaheim, and
WHEREAS, the Powelis have presented to the City an
executed agreement setting forth tie understanding between the
Powelis and the City of Anaheim and have tendered to the City of
Anaheim fully executed easement grant deeds to rights of way in
Convention Way and West Street; and
WIiLREAS, the City Council finds that said agreement
truly reflects the agreement between said Powelis and the Citv
of Anaheim and tnat the easement grant deeds tendered by he
Powelis are in proper order in all respects; and
WHEREAS, tne City Council finds that it is in t.. best
interests of the City of Anaheim to execute the agreement with
the Powelis to which reference has been made an to accept the
easement grant deeds tenUered to the City by the said Powells.
iXW, THEREFORE, EE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Ylayor and the City Clerk be, and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf
of the City of Anaheim, that certain agreement between the City
of Anaheim and hazel Powell and Edward F. Powell dated
February 6, "i366.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City accept, and it
does hereby accept, two easement grant deeds dated January 5,
1968 and executed in favor of the City of Anaheim by said
Hazel M. Powell and Edward F. Powell.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, directed to record sales two easement grant dE&J:S
to which reference is hiace in this resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and sighed by ze
tnis 6tn day of February, 1963.
