A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY PERTAINING TO CHANGE-
OVER ARRANGEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH CONDEM-
NATION PROCEEDINGS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
heretofore authorized the filing of a condemnation action, being
entitled "City of Anaheim vs. Southern California Edison Company,
et. al.," Orange County Court Case No. 156503; and
WHEREAS, in connection with the ultimate settlement
thereof, certain portions of the "system" being condemned may
change between the time of agreed settlement and the entry of
the Final Order of Condemnation; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Anaheim to agree to an equitable arrangement of credits and
debits to reflect the true and correct value of the property
ultimately condemned; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the agreement
submitted by the Southern California Edison Company represents
a fair and equitable method of making such adjustment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it authorize and direct, and it does
hereby authorize and direct, the Mayor and the City Clerk to
execute the agreement between the City of Anaheim and the Southern
California Edison Company as the same has been this date submitted
to the City for execution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 30th day of January, 1968.
