A RESOLUTION OF ThE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CHANGING THE NAME OF CERRO VISTA
DRIVE (NORTH -SOUTh PORTION) TO CERRO VISTA WAY.
WHEREAS, Cerro Vista Drive in the Peralta Hills Area,
recently annexed to the City of Anaheim, is both a north -south
and an east -west street; and
WHEREAS, considerable confusion will result with the
same street name for both a north -south and an east -west street
in the same area of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended
that the north -south portion of Cerro Vista Drive, extending
from the Santa Ana Canyon Road to Peralta Hills Drive, be re-
named Cerro Vista Way; and
WHEREAS, the Fire and Police Departments and the
United States Post Office Department have indicated that no
problem will exist if the north -south portion of Cerro Vista
Drive is renamed Cerro Vista Way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE- LT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the north -south portion of Cerro Vista
Drive, extending from the Santa Ana Canyon Road to Peralta
Hills Drive, in the City of Anaheim, be, and it is hereby re-
named CERRO VISTA WAY.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 23rd day of January, 1968.
