A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN
MADE IN THE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXA-
TION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM KNOWN AND DESIG-
NATED AS SANTA ANA CANYON ANNEXATION NO. 1.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
on the 5th day of December 1967 receive a written
petition asking that certain territory described in said peti-
tion be annexed to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt Resolution No.
67R -676 designating the said proposed annexation as
SANTA ANA CANYON ANNEXATION NO. 1 and
WHEREAS, the City Council did fix the 23rd day of
January 19 68 at the hour of 1:30 P.M., at the City
Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim, as the
day, hour and place when and where the City Council would hear
protests made by the owner or owners of any real property within
the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published by the
City Clerk in accordance with the requirements of law; and
WHEREAS, said hearing on protests was held on the 23rd
day of January 19 68 and on said date said hearing was
closed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
does find and declare that a majority protest was not made
at said hearing.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 23rd day of January 19 68

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Resolution No. 68R -35 on the 23rd day of
January, 1968.
