A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
Public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
ALETHA W. MACY, a single woman,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 38 of Anaheim
Extension, as shown on a Map of Survey made by William
Hamel and filed in the office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County, California, a copy of which is shown
in Book 3, pages 163 et seq., entitled "Los Angeles
County Maps," in the office of the County Recorder of
Orange County, California, described as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Citron
Street and Grafton Place; thence North 15° 21' 00" West
along the centerline of said Citron Street, 150 feet to
the true point of beginning; thence South 74° 36' 00"
West, 30 feet; thence North 15° 21' 00" West, parallel
to said centerline of Citron Street, 71 feet; thence
North 74° 36' 00" East, 30 feet to a point on the center-
line of Citron Street; thence South 15° 21' 00" East
along said centerline, 71 feet to the true point of
beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of January 19 68
