RESOLUTION NO. 68 R- 21
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE C ITY7F ANAHEIM CEKTOMIL
PROPERTY FOR EASEMENTS FOR PUBLIC UTILITY AND
TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described reel property
for municipal purposes, to wit Easements for £ublic utility

AREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
SAM MENLO and VERA MENLO, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Ahei,',., County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for easements for public

Parcel One: An easement for public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 10 feet of that portion of the
East 10 acres of the South half of the Southeast quarter of
the Northeast quarter of Section 14, Township South, Range
11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as per Map recorded in
Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the North line of said East 10 acres,
which is distant South 89° 36' 14" West, thereon, 388.00 feet
from the Survey centerline of Beach Boulevard; thence South
0° 09' 49" East, 293.75 feet; thence North 89° 35' 57" East,
177.00 feet; thence North 0° 09' 49" West, to a point from
which the Southeast corner of said Southeast quarter bears
North 0° 09' 49" West 195.00 feet, South 89° 35' 38" West,
211.00 feet and North 0° 09' 49" West, 250.00 feet; thence
North 89° 35' 38" East, 171.00 feet, to the Westerly line of
said Beach Boulevard; thence along said Westerly line, North
0° 09' 49" West, to said Northerly line of the East 10 acres;
thence along said Northerly line, South 89° 36' 14" West,
348.00 feet, to the point of beginning.
Parcel Two: A temporary construction easement over, under
and across the Westerly 15 feet of the Easterly 25 feet of
that portion of the East 10 acres of the South half of the
Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 14,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes,
as per Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, described as follows:

Beginning at a point in the North line of said East 10 acres,
which is distant South 89° 36' 14" West, thereon 388.00 feet
from the Survey centerline of Beach Boulevard; thence South 0°
09' 49" East, 293.75 feet; thence North 89° 35' 57" East,
177.00 feet; thence North 0° 09' 49" West, to a point from
which the Southeast corner of said Southeast quarter bears
North 0° 09' 49" West, 195.00 feet, South 89° 35' 38" West,
211.00 feet and North 0° 09' 49" West 250.00 feet; thence
North 89° 35' 38" East, 171.00 feet, to the westerly line of
said Beach Boulevard; thence along said Westerly line, North
0° 09' 49" West, to said Northerly line of the East 10 acres;
thence along said Northerly line, South 89° 36' 14" West,
348.00 feet, to the point of beginning.
The above described temporary construction easement referred
to as Parcel Two to terminate upon completion of the installa-
tion of a sewer and water line, but not later than October 1,
1968.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of January 19 68
