A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 67R -687
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC CONVENI-
ENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT, TO WIT: CONSTRUCTION
OF A TENNIS COURT AT OLIVE HILLS PARK, IN THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, JOB NO. 184, BY EXTENDING THE
TIME FOR THE OPENING OF SEALED PROPOSALS: AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE
OF SAID CHANGE OF DATE FOR THE OPENING OF
SEALED PROPOSALS.
WHEREAS, the City Council did on December 12, 1967,
adopt its Resolution No. 67R -687 finding and determining that
public convenience and necessity require the construction and
completion of a public improvement, to wit:
Construction of a tennis court at Olive Hills
Park, in the City of Anaheim, Job No. 184.
and authorizing the City Clerk to publish a notice according to
law, inviting sealed proposals for the furnishing of all plant,
labor, services, materials, etc., for the construction and com-
pletion of said public improvement, and fixing the 4th day of
January, 1968 at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. as the date and
hour for the opening of said bids; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the date fixed for the opening of said sealed proposals, January
4th, does not give the contractors sufficient time to prepare
their proposals on said public improvement, and that the time for
opening sealed proposals should, therefore, be extended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 67R -687 be, and the same
is hereby amended by extending the time for the opening of sealed
proposals for the public improvement therein described to January
18, 1968 at the hour of 2:00 P. M.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and she is
hereby authorized to publish a notice according to law, in the
Anaheim Bulletin, giving notice of the change of date for the open-
ing of sealed proposals in connection with the above mentioned
public improvement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 2nd day of January, 1968.
