A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM REVOKING ITS ACCEPTANCE
OF AN IRREVOCABLE OFFER OF DEDICATION IN
CONNECTION WITH TRACT NO. 5611, AND DE-
CLARING THAT IT WILL NOT ACCEPT DEDICATION
OF LOTS "A" AND "B" OF TRACT 5611.
WHEREAS, under date of September 23, 1965, Oakstone
Partners did execute an Irrevocable Offer to Dedicate to the City
of Anaheim Lots "A" and "B" of Tract 5611, for street purposes;
and
WHEREAS, said lots were unbuildable lots within said
subdivision, outside the required or necessary right of way of
the street upon which they bordered, and offered upon the con-
dition of the payment of certain sums by others to said Oakstone
Partners as reimbursement for street improvements; and
WHEREAS, said Lots "A" and "B" have heretofore been
deeded by said Oakstone Partners to the respective adjacent
property owners and said Oakstone Partners no longer wish or
desire reimbursement of the amounts which constituted a condi-
tion for said dedication; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
cause said Irrevocable Offer of Dedication to be recorded in the
office of the County Recorder of Orange County, said documents
being Document No. 24191, recorded in Book 7721, Page 240, Docu-
ment No. 24192, recorded in Book 7721, Page 243; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said Lots "A" and
"B" are two unbuildable lots in Tract 5611; that they are not nor
will they become streets, paths, alleys, or storm drainage ease-
ments within the purview of Section 11616 of the Business and
Professions Code of the State of California; and that the City
has not now nor will it have need for either of said lots for
street or any other municipal purpose; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City of Anaheim that it unequivocally reject
said Irrevocable Offer of Dedication.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it rejects, and it does hereby reject
for all time, those Irrevocable Offers of Dedication designated
as:
Lot "A," Tract 5611 Recorded in Book 7721, Page 240,
Office of County Recorder of
the County of Orange.
Lot "B," Tract 5611 Recorded in Book 7721, Page 243,
Office of County Recorder of
the County of Orange.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be author-
ized and directed, and she is hereby authorized and directed, to
record this resolution in the office of the County Recorder of
Orange County.
