A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PER1IT NO. 973.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a request for a conditional use permit from
MURIEL R. LENZ, 2201 Wagner Avenue, Anaheim, California, to
establish a mobile home park for adults only (Section 18.64.020
(2 -d) of the Anaheim Municipal Code), on the following described
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, to wit:
Parcel 1: The East one -half of the Southwest quarter
of the Northwest quarter of Section 13, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de
Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page
10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section;
thence West 90 feet; thence South 45 feet; thence
East 90 feet; thence North 45 feet to the point of
beginning.
Parcel 2: That portion of the East one -half of the
Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section
13, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California, more particularly, described
as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of the Southwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section;
thence West 90 feet; thence South 45 feet; thence
East 90 feet; thence North 45 feet to the point of
beginning.
Parcel 3: The Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter
of the Northwest quarter of the West 11 feet of the North-
east quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon
said request on October 23, 1967, notices of which said public
hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions
of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, inves-
tigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after
due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said
hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. PC67 -241 denying Condi-
tional Use Permit No. 973; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty -two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal
was filed with the City Council protesting the action of the
City Planning Commission in denying said conditional use permit
and said appeal was set for public hearing on December 12, 1967,
at the City Hall, in the City of Anaheim, and notices of such
public hearing were duly given as required by law and the pro-
visions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code;
and
WHEREAS, at the tin"te and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hear-
ing, that Conditional Use Permit No. 973 should be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Com-
mission denying Conditional Use Permit No. 973 be, and the
same is hereby sustained, and that the request of Muriel R. Lenz
for a conditional use permit to establish a mobile home park for
adults only, on the property hereinbefore described, be, and the
same is hereby denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 12th day of December, 1967.
