1967-660RESOLUTION NO. 67R- 660 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUi3LIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of THE YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF ANAHEIM, a corporation, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across that portion of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 16, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 16, said Southwest corner also being the center line intersection of Loara Street and Broadway; thence Easterly along the South line of said Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 16, 170 feet; thence Northerly parallel with the West line of said Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 16, 45 feet; thence Westerly parallel with said South line, 122.72 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Westerly and Northerly along said curve through a central angle of 90° 49' 09" an arc distance of 23.78 feet to a point on a line that is parallel with and distant 32 feet Easterly of the West line of said Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 16; thence South 89° 41' 09" West, 32 feet to a point on said West line; thence Southerly along said West line to the point of beginning. Said land is a portion of Lot 7 of the Helen Lynch Subdivision, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 442, page 158 of Deeds, records of said Orange County. -1- be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
