A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING THE RATES
FOR PARKING PERMITS ON CERTAIN DESIGNATED
CITY PARKING LOTS.
WHEREAS, Section 14.32.181 has been added to the
Municipal Code of the City of Anaheim providing for and
establishing certain designated city -owned parking lots as
being reserved for permit parking only; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the
best interest of the City of Anaheim to establish from time
to time the rates to be charged for such parking permits and
to establish the administrative procedures under which such
parking will be permitted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that a charge of
$6.00 per month, per car, payable three months in advance, is
a fair and reasonable charge to be made for such permit parking;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that such permits
will be more effective and reasonable if limited to a desig-
nated parking lot.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it establish, and it does hereby
establish, the sum of $6.00 as the monthly parking rate for
permit parking on those city -owned parking lots designated in
Section 14.32.181 of the Anaheim Municipal Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such permits be, and they
are hereby declared to be payable three months in advance and
that the Finance Department of the City of Anaheim
be, and it is hereby designated as the department to issue
such permits, including the stickers or decals appropriate to
carry out the purposes of this resolution and said Section
14.32.181 of the Anaheim Municipal Code.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 21st day of November 1967.
