A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ANNIE TORRES, a married
woman, who acquired title as Annie Barba,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Southerly 53 feet, as
measured at right angles to the center line of
Ball Road, of the following described parcel of
land:
The West 85.00 feet of the East 395.00 feet of
the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter
of the Southwest quarter of Section 14, Township
4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes,
as said Section is shown on a Map recorded in
Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said County.
EXCEPT the North 264.00 feet thereof.
Note: For the purpose of this description, the
center line of Ball Road is assumed to be the
South line of the above described parcel of land.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 21st day of November 19 67
