A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FOR
PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES OVER CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY, AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
AN INDENTURE GRANTING SAID EASE BNT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY,
a corporation, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for
public utility purposes, and more particularly described as
follows:
A strip of land, 10 feet wide, situate in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, being a portion of that certain
5.3834 acre parcel of land, shown as "Parcel 2"
on that certain map recorded March 6, 1967, in
Book 6, Page 44, of Parcel Maps, in the Office
of the Recorder of said County, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the east boundary
of said "Parcel 2" with a line parallel with and
distant southerly, 10 feet, measured at right
angles, from the Easterly prolongation of that
certain course shown on said map as having a
bearing of North 89° 46' 15" East, and a length
of 293.00 feet; thence westerly, along said
parallel line and the westerly prolongation thereof,
193.77 feet; thence Northerly, at right angles from
last described course, 10 feet, to the aforesaid
course bearing North 89° 46° 15" East; thence
easterly, along last said course and the easterly
prolongation thereof, 193.77 feet, to said East
boundary; thence Southerly, along said East
boundary, to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute, for and on be-
half of the City of Anaheim, an indenture granting said ease-
ment to the City.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property the sum of One
Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 14th day of November 1967.
