1967-623WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim owns and operates the
Anaheim Convention Center at which events are performed to which
tickets are sold; and
WHEREAS, the City's rental rates of said Anaheim Con-
vention Center are based upon a gross percentage of tickets sold;
and
WHEREAS, it is to the best interest of the City to
have tickets sold to said events performed at said Convention
Center; and
WHEREAS, United California Bank has twenty-three
branches, at the present time, in Orange County; and
WHEREAS, said Lank is willing to sell reserved seat
tickets to events at said Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, the City and said Unite& California Bank
desire to enter into an agreement providing for the sale of said
reserved seat tickets by said Bank.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that an agreement be made and entered into
between the parties providing for the sale of tickets by said
Bank to events at the Anaheim Convention Center, upon the follow-
ing terms and conditions
1. Tne bank will
(a) Sell at all of its branches located in Orange County
tickets to events at the Anaheim Convention Center
when reuested by the City so to do.
(b) Use its best efforts to promote and advertise Anaheim
Convention Center events provided that such advertis-
ing and promotion is in accordance with the Bank's
bus iness interest.
(c) Provide to City addresses of all of its Orange County
offices.
2. The City will:

BANK, PROVIiJING FOR Till, SALE OF TICKETS TO
EVENTS AT THE ANALLI,1 CONVENTION CENTER 3Y SAID
LAR.
(a) Pay to said Bank five (5) per cent of the gross sales
of tickets; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that the maximum
amount the City will pay said Bank is One Hundred and
Fiftv Dollars ($150.00) per day or Five Hundred Dollars
($500.00) per week (as used herein, a week means at
least three (3) performances and not more than eight
(8) performances of the same show). If there are more
than eight (8) performances of the same show, the City
will pay to said Bank five (5) per cent of gross sales

($75.00) per performance.
(b) Provide said Bank with ticket order forms.
(c) Deliver to all of said Bank's Orange County offices,
for those events for which the Bank sells tickets, a
schedule which indicates the event, times of per-
formances, and locations of seats with the prices
for said locations, if available.
(d) Supply to said Bank all advertising and promotional
material necessary to advertise and promote events at
said Convention Center.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute such agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
