A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO CERTAIN AGREEMENTS FOR AND ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY WHEN THE AMOUNTS DO NOT
EXCEED X10,000.00.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim Charter Section 518
provides that, by Ordinance or Resolution, the City Council may
authorize the City Manager to bind the City, with or without a
written contract, for the acquisition of equipment, materials,
supplies, labor, services or other items included within the
budget approved by the City Council, and may impose a monetary
limit upon such authority; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Charter Section 518, the
City Council desires to grant authority to the City Manager to
enter into agreements so long as the amount of each contract
does not exceed X10,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does hereby authorize the City
Manager to bind the City for the acquisition of equipment,
materials, supplies, labor, services or ot::er items included
within the budget approved by the City Council provided said
agreements do not exceed the sum of $10,000.00 each.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the authority granted
herein shall not apply to Public Works agreements entered into
pursuant to City of Anaheim Charter Section 1211.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 75R-485
be, and it is hereby, rescinded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
this 22nd day of January 1985.
