A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING A FEE FOR
LIBRARY PATRONS IN CONNECTION WITH CHARGES
FOR COLLECTION SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has contracted for
services in connection with collection of unpaid fines and
recovery of overdue books and other materials from the City
libraries; and
WHEREAS, the cost to the City for each
collection transaction is $5.50, and it is desired that this
cost be reimbursed to the City by Library patrons who are
responsible for such charge.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim that Library patrons
responsible for the imposition of collection services be
charged X5.50 for each collection transaction applicable to
said library patrons.
BE IT .FURTHER RESOLVED that the Library Director
be, and he is hereby, authorized to bill for and collect said
amounts.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
this 12th day of February 1985.
