A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER
TO REMIT FUNDS TO THE STATE TREASURER FOR
DEPOSIT IN THE LOCAL AGENCY INVESTMENT FUND
FOR THE PURPOSE OF INVESTMENT BY THE CITY.
WHEREAS, Section 16429.1 of the Government Code of the
State of California created a Local Agency Investment Fund in the
State Treasury for the deposit of money with the State Treasurer
by local agencies in the State of California for purposes of
investment; and
WHEREAS, said Section 16429.1 of the Government Code
provides for the investment of money in the Local Agency
Investment Fund by the State Treasurer and the establishment of
the local Investment Advisory Board and prescribes various duties
for the Board; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim desires
to authorize the City Treasurer to remit money to the State
Treasurer for the purpose of depositing Funds in the Local Agency
Investment Fund for the purpose of investment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim hereby authorizes the establishment of an
investment account by the State Controller and the remittance of
money to the State Treasurer for deposit in the Local Agency
Investment Fund. The title of said investment account and all
correspondence to the City concerning the same shall be directed
as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Anaheim agrees to deposit or withdraw money in the Local Agency
Investment Fund in the State Treasury in accordance with the
provisions of Section 16429.1 of the Government Code for the
purpose of investment as stated therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Anaheim authorizes the following named officials to order the
deposit or withdrawal of money in the Local Agency Investment Fund:
Mary E. Turner, City Treasurer
Oletha Meadows, Deputy City Treasurer
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that adoption of this resolution
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim shall be deemed the
consent required by Section 16429.1 of the Government Code for the
deposit of money in the Local Agency Investment Fund for the
account of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted thisl2th
