A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROP-
ERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES. (R/W #3465)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ALAN PACKER to sell to the
City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be
used for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and
more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the westerly 32.00 feet of the
west 170.00 feet as measured at right angles to the
centerline of West Street, of the north 60 feet of
that portion of Lot 10 of rules Rancho, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 4, page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 9 of said
Miles Rancho, said corner being the center line
intersection of the roads shown on said map adjoining
said Lot 9 on the north and west; thence S 0 degrees
29' 10" E along the westerly line of Lots 9 and 10,
658.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence N
89 degrees 43' 20" E, 362.95 feet, parallel with the
north line of said Lot 9, to the easterly line of the
parcel deeded to David Corderman and recorded in Book
1156, page 18 of Official Records; thence S 0 degrees
24' 00" E, along said easterly line of Corderman,
120.00 feet; thence S 89 degrees 43' 20W, 362.77
feet, parallel with the north line of said Lot 9, to
the westerly line of said Lot 10; thence N 0 degree
29' 10" W, 120.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be
construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the
City street system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a
warrant and pay to the owner of said real property, out of General
Funds of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No.
25-792-6301-E2987 the sum of Six Thousand Six Hundred Twenty
Dollars ($6,620.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 19th day of arch, 1985.
