92-016 RESOLUTION NO. 92R-16
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM EXTENDING
THE PERIOD OF ELIGIBILITY FOR
SEVERANCE PAY
WHEREAS, The City Council, on April 16, 1991,
approved and adopted Resolution No. 91R-112, providing for
severance benefits for employees subject to layoffs; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 91R-112 expired under its
terms on December 31, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the conditions which prompted the adoption
of Resolution No. 91R-112 continue to exist; and
WHEREAS, the best interests of the City continue to
be served by providing severance benefits in accordance with
the same terms and conditions as set forth in Resolution No.
91R-112;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the city of Anaheim as follows:
1. The provisions of Resolution 91R-112 are hereby
extended to December 31, 1992 and retroactively to December
31, 1991;
2. Eligibility for the pay and benefits authorized
under this Resolution shall terminate on December 31, 1992
unless extended by the city Council;
3. The City Council reserves the right at its sole
discretion to terminate this program at any time, by motion at
a regular or special meeting of the City Council.

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the city of Anaheim this 4th day of
February, 1992.
