A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND ORDERING THE
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM OF THE
TERRITORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED OAK HILLS RANCH
~' ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, said Local Agency Formation Commission
authorized the City of Anaheim to annex said territory without
notice and hearing and without an election pursuant to the
authority vested in said Commission by Section 54797.1 of the
Government Code; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed
City of Anaheim is situated in the County
California, and is contiguous to the City
uninhabited territory. That said consent

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
authorized to approve and order said annexation by resolution
without notice and hearing pursuant to the approval of said Local
Agency Formation Commission and Section 54797.1 of the Government
Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim finds:
That the City of Anaheim submitted proof satisfactory to
the Local Agency Formation Commission that all of the owners of
land within the territory proposed to be annexed have given their
signed consent to such annexation. That said territory proposed
to be annexed to said City of Anaheim is situated in the County of
Orange, State of California, and is contiguous to the City of
Anaheim, and is uninhabited territory. That said consent signed
by all of the owners of land within the territory proposed to be
annexed contained a description of said territory in words and
figures as hereinafter in this resolution described.
That the City of Anaheim filed said request to annex said
territory, containing the specific boundaries of the territory to
be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation Commission and said
Local Agency Formation Commission approved said annexation request
of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section 54797.1 of the
Government Code.
That on the 6th day of February, 1985, the Local Agency
Formation Commission duly adopted Resolution No. 85-6 in which
said Commission authorized the City of Anaheim to annex said
territory in accordance with Section 54797.1 of the Government
Code and further approved such annexation of said territory
without notice or hearing.
That the Local Agency Formation Commission further by
resolution, authorized the City Council of the City of Anaheim to
annex said territory without notice or hearing by the City Council
and without the requirement that an election be held by the City
on the question of said annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the annexation of the
territory included within the boundaries of the OAK HILLS RANCH
ANNEXATION, more particularly described as follows, to wit:
All that certain parcel of land located in the
unincorporated territory of the County of Orange, State
of California, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Parcel No. 3 of
the land allotted to Raymundo Yorba in the Decree of
Partition of the Rancho Santiago De Santa Ana,
recorded in Book "B" of Judgments of the 17th Judicial
District Court of California in said County of Orange,
said corner being the Southerly terminus of that
certain course described as "N.26°13'55"W., 2,056.52
feet" in the "Santa Ana Canyon Annexation No. 7" to the
City of Anaheim, thence N.26°13'55"W. along said
course, 377.38 feet to an angle point in the existing
City of Anaheim boundary per said annexation, said
angle point being the True Point of Beginning; thence
along said existing boundary line in a general
Northwesterly direction, to it's intersection with the
Northerly line of Parcel No. 2 of the land allotted to
Felipe Yorba of said Decree of Partition of the Rancho
Santiago De Santa Ana; thence leaving said existing
City boundary N.60°19'09"E., 6,699.36 feet in a
Northeasterly direction along said Northerly line to
the Northeasterly corner of said Parcel 2; thence
S.27°08'00"E., 1,914.00 feet in a Southeasterly
direction along the Easterly line of said Felipe Yorba
and the Teodocio Yorba Allotments in said Decree of
Partition; thence 5.34°45'00"W., 7,837.00 feet in a
Southwesterly direction along the Southerly line of
said Decree of Partition; thence N.26°13'55"W., 377.38
feet along said Westerly line of said Raymundo Yorba
Allotment in a Northwesterly direction to the True
Point of Beginning,
is hereby approved and said territory is hereby ordered annexed to
and incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, and is hereby designated as the OAK HILLS RANCH
ANNEXATION to the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the
Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission. Said
annexation shall be effective upon the date the Executive Officer
records a certified copy of the certificate of completion of
proceedings with the county recorder of the County of Orange and,

from and after the effective date of such annexation, all property
therein shall be subject to taxation equally with the property
within the City of Anaheim and shall be taxed to pay its
proportionate share of the existing indebtedness and liability of
said City of Anaheim contracted prior to or existing at the time
of such annexation pursuant to the written consent of the owners
of property in said annexed territory filed with the Clerk of the
City of Anaheim prior to the adoption of this resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 7th day of May, 1985.
