A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING PARAMEDIC
FEES TO BE CHARGED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City Council of the City
of Anaheim to provide for the collection of fees to be established
by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has by resolution heretofore
established various fees in the Fire Department of the City of
Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim provides funds for the
operation of Paramedic Service personnel and equipment throughout
the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to establish
reasonable service fees to assist in defraying the cost of said
paramedic service to be paid by persons who utilize or benefit
from having said paramedic service readily available; and
WHEREAS, the fees hereinafter established do not exceed
the estimated reasonable cost of providing paramedic services in
the City of Anaheim for which the fee is charged.
