A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING PERMIT FEES RELATING
TO APPLICATIONS FOR FORTUNETELLING.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Municipal Code establishes
procedures relating to applications for, and the processing of,
permits for fortunetelling; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish permit
application and appeal fees in amounts hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the fees hereinafter established do not exceed
the estimated reasonable costs of processing said applications
and appeals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that an application fee of Two Hundred Fifty
Dollars (250.00) is hereby established for, and shall
accompany, any application for a fortunetelling permit filed
pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 4.40 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a fee of Two Hundred Fifty
Dollars (250.00) shall accompany any appeal filed pursuant to
the provisions of Sections 4.40.090, 4.40.100, and 4.40.110 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code. No appeal shall be accepted for
filing by the City Clerk unless accompanied by the appeal fee
specified herein.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
