A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING FEES RELATING
~^- TO APPLICATIONS FOR CARNIVAL AND CIRCUS
PERMITS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 4.53 OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, Chapter 4.53 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
establishes procedures relating to applications for, and the
processing of, permits for carnivals and circuses; and
WHEREAS, Section 4.53.030 thereof authorizes the City
Council to establish an application fee for said permits; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish permit
application and appeal fees in amounts hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the fees hereinafter established do not exceed
the estimated reasonable costs of processing said applications
and appeals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that an application fee of One Hundred
Seventy-Five Dollars ($175.00) is hereby established for, and
shall accompany, any application for a carnival or circus permit
filed pursuant to the provisions of Section 4.53.030 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a fee of Two Hundred-Fifty
Dollars (250.00) shall accompany any appeal filed pursuant to
the provisions of Section 4.53.200 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code. No appeal shall be accepted for filing by the City Clerk
unless accompanied by the appeal fee specified herein.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution
supersedes prior resolutions setting permit application fees in
connection with Chapter 4.53 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
except Fire Department fees established pursuant to Resolution
No. 84R-255.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
